Project Statement

Our Health Assessment Service Offers a free and confidential Service, on a one to one basis to individuals who require a health check.

Part of our assessment also looks at the individual persons lifestyle; we will check their eating, smoking habits, alcohol consumption and levels of physical activity.

This information will then be analysed and our assessor develops an individual lifestyle and physical activity action plan.

Individuals are then reviewed at three and at twelve months basis so that we can measure what health improvement has taken place.

As our service is a mobile service, individuals can book an appointment at a venue that they attend or an appointment can be made at our Head Office at Thomas Street, in West Bromwich.

Tests undertaken include:

• Blood Pressure Test
• Weight
• Height Measurement
• Stamina Test
• Body Mass Index (BMI)
• Lung Capacity Test

Health Assessment

Extend exercise is essentially recreational movement to music for older people and individuals that suffer from well-being issues.

We currently run classes during our Day Care Service at Thomas Street on Monday’s and Wednesday’s between 11.45am and 12.30pm. Clients are required to undergo a small assessment first just to ensure they are safe to exercise.

We employ a number of Sessional Tutors; who together with the Project Manager deliver a number of classes at different venues throughout Sandwell. We currently charge each individual £1.00 per exercise session.

We are always looking to set up new classes, so if your group are interested in having a class at your facility or you are interested in joining an Extend Class or would like to book an appointment for a Health Assessment please contact us.
