Lloyd Fletcher studied Teacher Training in Jamaica before joining many people from the Caribbean islands by migrating to England. Lloyd worked for many years within the Engineering Sector before retiring. He is a father and grand father and has lived locally for over 50 years. He is a founder member of WBACRC and held the position of Chair for 14 years before stepping down. He currently holds the position of Assistant Treasurer and chairs the Human Resources Sub Group.
Lloyd has been involved in a number of other voluntary organisations including SADWICA and Oscar Sandwell for whom he has been a board member. Lloyd has also been awarded with the Certificate for National Award for Voluntary Endeavour for Community Work. Lloyd became directly involved in the establishment of the Sandwell and District West Indian Community Association and became the Chair person for a number of years.
Lloyd presides as a lay magistrate on the Warley and West Bromwich and Wolverhampton circuits.
