Minjit was born in Birmingham and has lived most of her life in Sandwell. She has
been the Senior Finance Officer since 2000 and has previous experience of working
with a multi-national chemical manufacturer, the construction industry and the family
run business.
Minjit’s main duties are to oversee the day to day financial operation of the charity.
Specifically, her role includes administering the payroll, supporting divisional
managers and the board in monitoring expenditure against budget.
She has a strong academic background having attained the Association of Accounting
Technicians and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountancy Qualifications.
When not at work much of her time is taken up ensuring that her children have a varied
program of activities and interests. She takes a keen interest in their educational
needs.
Her general interests are Cooking, Walking, Cycling and playing Badminton.
True to form she likes to keep up to date with finance issues and regularly checks
economic journal and monitors investment performance.
