Our volunteer’s are an important part of the services that WBACRC provide.

In return you will get the satisfaction of time and effort well spent, with people who really do appreciate what you do for them. In addition, volunteering can be a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and gain useful experience.

The range of opportunities is huge. Whatever skills and experience you have, there is something that you can do and remember, there are no age-limits on volunteering.

Once you start volunteering you should usually expect:

• payment of out-of pocket expenses (eg travel)
• a clear idea of what your role will be
• appropriate training and support.

If you aren't clear about anything, don't be afraid to ask someone.
